Thanks to that...I like the discussion. So weak points for XT2 from my viewpoint are lack of DR and worm effect if you are not careful. So no more Fuji advantage in colour it would seem. What about raw, dynamic range, low light, and all that important stuff?Totally agree, some people claim LR has 'fixed' XTrans even with the 24MP sensor but I call shenanigans.
Very big and bright. You'd miss a lot of chances in a travel or family photo. The A7iii would be the better benchmark going forward - it will be closer to the A9 than to the A7.Lastly, the larger formats usually still gain their stop advantage (check DxOmark), but the relative delta between a smaller format (e.g. So I do believe they engage in some misleading statements at times.

Flickr is almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world. For someone who shoots only in JPG all life then yes, Fuji wins.
Fujifilm X-A7 7.0% Sony a7R IV 2.0% Fujifilm X-T3 1.9% Fujifilm X-T4 1.8% Nikon D780 1.7% Olympus Tough TG-6 1.5% Canon EOS M200 1.4% Canon EOS M6 Mark II 1.3% Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II 1.2% Sony a6100 1.2%

But now that's it's here, what is it really like to use? at base iso?The EOS R5 has been a long time coming – we knew it had 8K and we knew it had an AF joystick.

I personally believe all cameras have pros and cons and its best to use whatever is best for your task at hand.

It jam-packs plenty of cool/useful features into a small, tough-built package that's a pleasure to shoot with and thus, has earned our silver award.- AF is much better on the Fuji. I very much doubt if XT2 will be anywhere in the same league as the upcoming A7iii.Now my summary. At night-time, things can be quite different.- Body and ergonomics – Fuji is better built. But sometimes I feel like the film look is not always what I would like, actually I still have some issue to properly work on my Fuji images in Lightroom, and sometimes end up a bit frustrated and tell me I should shoot JPG, stop worrying, taking the fuji result, but wait, I want control over my photo, so still shoot raw most of the time. You are welcome. Sony A7 sensor is better, but for my usage I liked Fuji more. I dont want to waste my time on many travel photos each by each in Lightroom to get an unnoticable better result. My comparison was to show my perspective as a Sony A7 user who searches for an upgrade and is wondering if Fuji X-T2 is worth it ? It is also 4 year old technology that is not the current benchmark (hint: compare A7rII, A9, A7iii (rumored)).- AF is much better on the Fuji.it's ff vs. crop... a rather pointless comparison. The APSc is as good as full frame is fine right up until you do a nightscape and then the full frame pulls ahead every time in my experience although I must day the XT2 is quite good at nightscapes as well. Maybe this is in relation to one of the aforementioned auto modes, which I never use.fuji jpegs are oversaturated, with detail loss... it's been well documented, but i guess to each his own.But yes I agree with your other points. It can just make your processing a little bit easier. In reality when you shoot RAW it doesn’t really matter. But I see there are people that jump from A7RII to X-T2 so there are other reasons than this ultimate image quality. Fuji does not.I haven't run into that issue with skies turning a cyan color?? *2- The display uses a new “Smart Menu”, allowing shooting settings to be changed easily and intuitively.  Quickly adjust settings such as brightness, degree of background blur, Film Simulations and aspect ratios with a tap on the LCD, while being able to see what the effect will be on screen in real time. There is also X-T20 with similar price to A7 but my big hands say no to such a small body.To all of your points: not sure what you are after, but you may be quite happy with the A6500 (or even the A6300).What’s the best camera for under $2000? (2) Large 3.5” 16:9 wide touchscreen LCD - The aspect ratios supported include 3:2, 16:9, 1:1 and 4:3, newly-adopted in the X-A7.Stylish, lightweight and ideal for photography on the move: introducing the new FUJIFILM X-A7 mirrorless digital cameraThe X-A7 is Fujifilm's latest camera to join the X-Series family: a mirrorless camera that captures beautiful stills and videos with astonishing quality and ease of use.  - The display has the touch response performance equivalent to smartphones, in order to change menu items instinctively and simply. - The sensor features 8.5 times more phase detection pixels across its surface than previous sensors*2.

A bug I think. To be honest when I rented Fuji I thought those JPGs will be jaw dropping probably, maybe I will shoot more JPG with Fuji.

Well I am not sure to be honest. Fuji definitely does black and white photos better than Sony at this stage.Just seeing a kit lens shootout, telling everyone that the A6500 sensor beats the A7 sensor, is kind of missing the point.

Only when it comes to skin tones it takes more time to process Sony files to adjust them. Tweaking WB in camera can change a lot when you compare RAW files. Sharper in corners.
